Snowed In?

Posted by:Chad at 8:31 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2007

On Friday morning I watched the weather for our local area and they predicted 8-12 inches of snow this weekend. As I look out the window, it appears we never even got 4.
Nicole and I were prepared to be snowed in all weekend. Instead we just pretended we were. We have not left the house since Friday night and we have enjoyed it. I baked Chocolate Chip cookies, we watched a couple of movies, cleaned a few things and I haven’t shaved. Tomorrow, it’s back to the weekly grind.
This Friday we have another Stampede game and we are beginning to prepare for the MN Horse Expo coming up in April.

Taxes

We got our taxes done this weekend, we are getting a lot more back than we expected. We normally try to break even, but this year it just worked out that we get about $700 back.

I headed to another Stampede game Saturday and had a blast by myself. Nicole was home sick. I got a few more pictures up on my Flickr account.

Happy Valentines Day

Another valentines day and I once again made all of Nicole’s co-workers green with envy. I decided to repeat myself and have a Barber Shop Quartet come to work and sing for Nicole in front of her co-workers. She loved it, they all applauded and it was great.
Our weekends are pretty busy the next couple of months. We have tickets to some more Hockey games and will be kept busy with the horses.

Sioux Falls Stampede Hockey

Today we headed to a Stampede Hockey game. We got the tickets for free and I can see why. We were in Row 30. Which happens to be the last row. But we had fun anyway. I posted a few pictures I took from the view we had.

They ended up losing 5-4 in overtime.

Updates

I think I have the site back to normal now.

Not too much has happened in the last couple of weeks other than I got my Minnesota Wild Jersey in the mail and I love it. I am now plotting how to get up to St Paul to see a game before the season ends for the year.

Nicole and I have both been putting in overtime at work and I go in again Saturday afternoon. It looks like I might be working the next couple of weekends because we are putting in a new system and I get to be one of the testers.

We are back in business. I have a few more things to cleanup, but the website is mostly back to normal.
