We got back in town on Sunday night. We had a lot of fun. Not many picture taking opportunities. But here is the link to the few pictures I was able to take:
Horse Expo 2007

We are having a lot of fun so far. Today was a long day at the Horse Expo. Lots of walking. We did not get a lot of pictures yet, mostly we wandered around. Tomorrow it will be more of the same and we will hit the Mall of America.

We had a pretty big scare tonight with our horse Sali. I will tell you up front that everything is ok and she is doing fine.

Someone put her in the wrong stall and she started eating feed that is not meant for her. She got some of it stuck in her throat and started choking. Luckily we were out there as it happened and called the Vet right away. Horses are built in a way that her lungs were not being blocked and she was breathing properly.

The Vet tranquilized her and ran a tube down her throat and the blockage was removed. The Vet said she will be just fine and she has to rest for the next couple of days. It was a big scare and are very glad it is over.

We are still going to the Horse Expo and will be leaving Thursday morning. Everyone out at the barn knows what happened and will be watching her carefully.

The horse expo starts this Friday. We will be out of town starting Thursday and through the weekend.

The Minnesota Wild have lost the first 3 playoff games. One more loss and they are done until next season. Kind of sad since they were playing so well a few weeks ago.

Two weeks until the Minnesota Horse Expo. We can barely contain ourselves.

Regarding my job, I cannot post details on the internet since it’s all confidential. So those who need to know will be told directly. I will post more details in the coming months.

My random thought for the day: I love the new Hy-Vee store that opened on Minnesota Ave.

We headed to two Stampede Hockey games this week. One was a make-up game from the blizzard we had last month. The Stampede won both games. Woo Hoo!
We will not know if we are going to a MN Wild game until the last minute. The playoff schedule does not get determined until a few days before it starts.
