One Step Closer….

I did something very important this morning. I wrote a check and sent it to St Louis Missouri. The reason it was important is because it was the final payment to my Student Loan. I recently got some extra cash and if you want to know where it came from you will have to ask me in person. Anyway, I realized I could pay it off with one giant swipe, so I did.
This brings us one step closer to having our own place in the country. We still have work to get done before that can happen, but there is something very satisfying about not owing money to a company or organization.

I had a little bit extra to spare so I also purchased a new $200 chair for my office. I spend so much time in there, I figured I really should have someplace comfortable to sit.

No News Is Good News?

I talked with my mom tonight and realized I had not posed much on here lately. Mostly because not much has happened. We continue to go out to the barn most nights of the week. However, we did manage to get to Cantebury Park this last Sunday to get in some Horse Racing action.

Back to normal??

So I got a lot of new parts for my computer and I think I got them installed in a way that it will not crap out on me again. The new motherboard I got appears to be defective too, so I went with plan B with my old motherboard. I found out my old motherboard did not burn up after all, it was actually the power supply. So I have a few returns to make now.
Other than that, we are spending most of our free time at the barn and resting at home.

Burnt Slap Up

I ended up having my own fireworks on the 4th of July. While playing my current favorite game (World of Warcraft) on my computer, the entire machine went dead in a flash. It appears I managed to burn out the motherboard and CPU. I think it was a overheating issue. Now I cannot play my favorite game. I managed to order new parts the same night, but they will not arrive until next Wednesday. This has Nicole upset because she has to keep me entertained until then. So I am now forced to watch TV and find other ways to amuse myself.

Tonight we are planning on going for a walk in preparation for the Minnesota State Fair. I think I will have to purchase new shoes too. I currently do not have any good quality walking shoes that will last through a few long days at the fair.
