Today we were going to head to Minnesota and see some family. The roads did not look that bad. But just as we got accross the border, some SUV tried to pass me and spun out, hit two other trucks causing them to spin out. Luckily we were not involved in the accedent and amazingly no one was hurt. It happened near an over pass and every guard rail was taken out. Its amazing nobody rolled over or hit any of the cement pillars. 911 was quickly called andwe stuck around to make sure everyone was ok. I snapped a quick photo with my phone. The other side of this SUV is totally smashed in. The other two vehicles were pretty messed up too.

Shortly after leaving the scene we witnessed two more vehicles in the ditch and decided to turn around and head back home. Just goes to show that it doesn’t matter if you have 4 wheel drive, you can still lose control of your car on what looks like a clear road.

The Christmas Cards are done and I have sent them to Harold’s for printing. Now comes the fun of putting addresses on all of them.

This morning I also decided to go running in the cold again. It was about 10 degrees or so out. I managed to keep mostly warm except my shoes have a mesh on the front so your feet can “breath”. Unfortunately that doesn’t really help when there is snow on the ground. So my toes froze and I cut my run short.

We decided to do a Christmas Card this year. But not any normal Christmas card. I commissioned an artist to draw one for us. We have the rough draft and the final product is on the way. Here is a little sneak peak……
