I got some of my 15min of fame tonight, and I managed not to embarrass myself too much. At the Stampede Hockey game, I got picked to do the Shootout for a chance to win $5000. I had to score 5 consecutive goals starting closest to the net, then moving back until I was in the opposite net. I only made 2 of the shots and won $25 and a free family membership to the Butterfly house. I also got to sit down on the ice between the two teams for the 2nd period. It was really amazing! Then to top if off, Nicole did the Chuck-A-Puck promotion and won a gift card to Bagel Boy. In all, a very fun night of hockey!
